Each oven has four teams consisting of a "starter", the master and his assistant. |

The "starter" gather the molten glass on the end of the blowpipe. Constantly rotating the pipe, he works it through eight different wooden molds to form the desired shape. Again and again he gathers additional glass, until the necessary quantity is obtained. |
His last step in the process is to blow the glass into a round ball-shape to prepare it for the final handling by the glass master. |

The master now gives the glass its final size and shape. This step requires knowledge, sensitivity and physical strength. It is the only way to attain the unique characteristic of Genuine Antique Glass. |
The red hot balloon of glass is cut open at both ends and dilated to form a cylinder. |

After careful checking for quality ... |
....the cylinder is scored lengthwise with a glass cutter. |

The scored cylinder is reheated and flattened. The completed sheet is cooled slowly in the lehr to remove the tension and permit good cutability.
Once again it is checked for quality, according to rigid standards of Lamberts.
By this time the glass has passed through many hands. All have added their individual expertise to create a precious, newly made, "Genuine Antique Glass".
"Commitment to the tradition of glassmaking"
This is our basic concept. It is the only method by which Genuine Antique Glass can be made.
Machine-made glasses lose brilliance, body, structure and versatility. Genuine Antique Glass has flair and individual characteristics.
Genuine Antique Glass is not all alike and glass factories are not all the same.
